THE PROCESS

Shane Redman, owner of Cornerstone Captures

1.

Contact - Fill out our Contact Form to inquire and have all of your initial questions answered. We can then either continue the conversation through email or schedule a phone call, video chat, or in-person consultation.

2.

Consultation - We'll get to know each other a little more and discuss what it is that you want your pictures to convey. I find it best to take pictures with a purpose and to do that requires backstory.

3.

Booking - Here is when we'll get to business.  I'll draft up an invoice and any necessary contracts as we decide on a session date. A 25% non-refundable downpayment is required to lock in your date.

4.

Planning - We'll work together to come up with a consistent look and feel for your session.  I like to use a think-map of colors, posing, moods, and styles to help guide you along the way. We'll also discuss locations, outfits and other details. In the days leading up to your session, I'll scout out the location to make sure that it is still available and plan out a route for the session.

5.

Session - This is the fun part! Shoot day is when we'll create those special images just for you!

6.

Proof Selection - Shortly after the session, you will receive a proof gallery for you to choose a pre-determined amount of images to have professionally color corrected and edited.

7.

Delivery - Your online gallery will be presented where you will be able to download and print your beautiful images!

EDITING

A photographer's job is just starting once the session is over! Depending on the job, editing photos can take up a significant amount of time. Below are some before-and-after examples and just a handful of the videos that I've made highlighting certain aspects of my editing process.
